SLOW WORK,KEPT SLOW.
Nothing here is accelerated. A CHRONOVA movement passes through the hands of four watchmakers, and the finishing takes longer than the assembly it hides.
Anglage
Each bridge edge is filed to a forty-five degree bevel, then burnished with a boxwood peg until it reflects like water. A single movement carries more than two metres of bevelled edge.
Black polish
Steel components are worked flat against a zinc plate with diamond paste until the surface reflects no light at all from one angle, and all of it from another.
Regulation
Every calibre is timed in five positions across ten days. A piece leaves the atelier only when it holds within four seconds a day.
